Fundamentals of Acroyoga Workshop

Yoga forms a connection between your breath, your mind and your body. 

Acroyoga invites us to experience the full spectrum of our being through opportunities to give and to receive, support and be supported; to connect with your body, mind and soul in the easy and challenging postures with your Acroyoga partner.

The benefits of the practice go beyond the physical ones, acroyoga is all about community, relationships, and partnerships.

Building trust and confidence.

In this workshop you’ll learn the fundamentals for acroyoga roles, basing, flying and how to practice safely,  being the spotter in the easy poses/tricks but also in the more challenging ones!

The best of all is that it doesn’t matter how old you are, it invites us to feel like kids again, and it is fun to do and fun to watch.

It brings people together in the old-fashioned way, through human connection and playfulness.

The content we’ll cover:

  • Playful warm-up activities
  • Importance of good communication and respect for everyone during the practice
  • Role as the base, flyer and spotter.
  • Hand & feet placements
  • Bird- & reverse Bird-
  • Backbends
  • Bat + alternatives
  • Candlesticks + alternatives
  • Mount and dismount options of the postures mentioned above.
  • The importance of giving back to our partners and the relaxation




Show up with an open mind and an open heart keeping in mind that this is a practice that includes close physical contact with our peers.
